7月2日 Football Fever vs Sherry's Fever1. Television
Football fever: Television will be switched on until middle of the night to catch the latest live matches
Sherry's fever: Television is switched on to watch reruns of HK and Korean dramas...to fill up d time while lying on the sofa after taking heaps of medicine...
2. Voice Football fever: Voice will be hoarse due to all the shouting when goals are scored...most likely due to bets that have been taken on the game. Voice will return to normal after the football season. Sherry's fever: Voice will be extremely sexy due to the stupid bug living in the throat and causing coughs and sore throat.
3. Leave Football fever: Lotsa people will take leave to watch the football matches especially when it comes to the knock-out stages. Sherry's fever: Take MC from Dr to sleep and get well.
4. Food Football fever: Eat lots of junk e.g. popcorn, twisties to keep the mouth busy when watching the game. Usually food will tend to end up on the floor especially if the other team scores. Sherry's fever: Porridge and noodles...the only things that can go down my dry throat.
5. Time Football fever: Last a month Sherry's fever: Have been going on for more than 3 weeks.....horrible, horrible, horrible....
Crap from me again.....hahaha.....anyway, football updates.....Final 4 are Germany, Italy, Portugal and France......woo hoo....Italy is still in......:P
6月27日 Story of Mozzy and QuitoMozzy and Quito are 2 irritating dracula pests who have decided to move into my room recently. They really are like draculas, shying away from the sunlight and making an apperance only when night falls. I don't even know why they have to choose my room to move into? I mean, not like my room is the nicest room in the house...hmm...but then again I do have the sweetest blood there is in the house...haha...just kidding...
Anyway, Mozzy and Quito can't stop but compete with each other at everything they do. Mozzy will say, I can suck out the most blood in one night and Quito will say, well I can make the most bites in one night. And so the competition keeps going on with each taking one side of my poor body. Both of them forever at logger heads and poor me having to suffer all their arguments. I mean, they can't keep quiet bout those arguments they are having...they had to tell everyone the good news, who won the game, who managed to find the best spot to bite, who managed to find the most hard to reach place to scratch...buzzing here and there...So, it's not surprising that they are not my best friends.
Well, you know how love and hate are opposites side of the coin so finally Mozzy and Quito fell in love through all the competitions and realised that they are just perfect for each other. They decided to get married and had a perfect wedding last night. Which was a good thing cos they were so busy conducting the wedding they forgot to have their competitions. And I finally got a good night's rest. Hopefully, tonight there will be another party going on...I need my sleep. Please, please Mozzy and Quito, move to another place to live...if not...I don't know what I'll do...if I'm desperate, I might call Mr Shieldtox for help and that might not be a good thing for you. So, it's best if both of you make a move and settle down somewhere else where u can have a happy family. Leave me in peace or I'll make u rest forever in peace.
 I don't even know wut I'm crapping about...I must really be going crazy...hahah...medicine does that to you...my head is sooooo heavy....wanna go and have a rest but then the room is just too hot...drat it...can't find the remote control for my air-conditioner...hot hot hot...  6月24日 Asthma Water Road???Noticed this new sign near my house...Jalan Ayer Lelah roughly translated into English as Asthma Water Road. What were the DBKL people thinking when they made this sign?
 Doesn't make any sense at all. People have always made fun of my address cos it's in actual fact Jalan Ayer Leleh (drooling water). Not a great name I can tell you that, but at least it makes more sense than Asthma Water Road. Asthma Water Road??? What a name...
Anyway, I decided to Google Asthma Water and found out that they have something in common after all. Water is actually one of the cures for asthma. Isn't that amazing?

According to the article, you can short-circuit an asthma attack by drinking two 8-ounce glasses of water and placing a pinch of salt on the tongue (research carried out by a Dr. F. Batmanghelidj). Salt is vital for the generation of hydroelectric energy and transmission of nerve impulses in all the cells. Salt acts as a natural antihistamine through salt-sensing nerves on the tongue. Well, there you go. Looks like the DBKL people do make sense after all. Haha, maybe the sign boards they put up do have secret meanings to them. It's up to us to go and dig out the secrets. Something like Dan Browns's books with symbologist Robert Landon trying to dig out secrets from codes left behind. DBKL could be a secret science society leaving behind clues for us fellow humans to crack. Either that, or they are just lousy spellers.  |
